Research Areas

The lab focuses on research at the intersection of human resource management, organizational ethics, and leadership in educational systems. Our work examines the professional lives of educators and educational leaders, with particular attention to career development, teacher retention, and organizational behaviors within schools.

The research conducted in the lab addresses several key areas, including career development in educational systems, retention of educators, and withdrawal behaviors such as lateness, absenteeism, and turnover. In addition, the lab investigates organizational ethics and ethical dilemmas in educational settings, as well as mentoring and professional training in a digital environment, including immersive and VR experiences.

The lab also develops simulation-based workshops for team learning in the era of artificial intelligence, explores findings from international assessments in science and mathematics (TIMSS), and conducts research using mixed-methods approaches that integrate quantitative and qualitative analyses. Complementing these areas, the lab engages in comparative education research to better understand educational systems across different contexts.
