Another focus of the lab is the study of withdrawal behaviors in educational organizations, particularly lateness, absenteeism, and teachers’ intentions to leave the profession. These behaviors are examined as organizational and ethical phenomena that reflect teachers’ responses to workplace conditions, leadership practices, and school culture.
The lab investigates the psychological and organizational mechanisms that lead teachers to disengage from their work. Special attention is given to the role of ethical climate, leadership styles, and organizational commitment in shaping these behaviors. By identifying the factors that increase or reduce withdrawal behaviors, the research contributes to improving teacher well-being, strengthening organizational commitment, and promoting more effective and stable educational systems.
