Another focus of the lab is international large-scale assessments in science and mathematics, particularly the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS). The research examines how school-level factors such as leadership practices, teachers’ professional culture, and ethical school climate relate to students’ academic achievement in international assessments.
By analyzing international datasets and integrating organizational and educational perspectives, the lab explores how school environments, educational policies, and teaching practices influence student performance. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of educational effectiveness and equity across different educational systems.
