Environmental and climate harms in Israel are not distributed equally and are often concentrated among peripheral and vulnerable populations - both geographically and socially, deepening existing gaps.
The Center develops policy frameworks that incorporate distributive and intergenerational justice considerations, aiming to produce solutions tailored to the unique characteristics of affected groups and to ensure a fair distribution of environmental burdens.
Led by Dr. Uri Sharon, in partnership with Dr. Manal Totry-Jubran, Prof. Shai Stern, and the Citizens for the Environment association.
