The course explores diverse aspects of the concept of community, including the French and Francophone communities in Israel. It incorporates elements of managing a personal project with real community impact, using Project-Based Learning (PBL). This includes meetings with community organizations and representatives as well as fieldwork.
Throughout the course, students are exposed to the challenges faced by different communities—such as stories of migration and integration—and to the organizations working to find solutions for these populations. In addition, they acquire fundamental tools for planning and managing a project.
