Our research on emotional regulation and personality disorders focuses on difficulties in mentalization (the capacity to understand mental states, such as emotions, thoughts, and beliefs).
Prof. Yogev Kivity, who leads the research in this field, directs projects that promote innovative approaches for measuring mentalization difficulties in real-time within people's daily lives. Additionally, we are developing brief, single-session interventions designed to enhance mentalization skills.
