Zuckerman Faculty Scholar

I’m deeply honored to share that I have been selected as a Zuckerman Faculty Scholar.

I am profoundly grateful to the Zuckerman STEM Leadership Program, Zuckerman Israel Institute, the Zuckerman family, and the Israel Council for Higher Education for their trust and generous support. This fellowship plays a pivotal role in supporting my faculty appointment at Bar-Ilan University and in enabling my return to Israel to establish an independent research laboratory.

I would also like to express my sincere thanks to our Dean, Professor Orit Shefi , for her invaluable help and guidance throughout the transition - your support made this step possible and smoother.

Through this appointment, I plan to advance our understanding of coherent light–atom interactions at the nanoscale, with the goal of enabling chip-scale quantum devices for quantum metrology, communication, and computation. I’m excited to build a new lab at the interface of atomic physics, nonlinear optics, nanophotonics, and quantum science.

Finally, I’m actively recruiting bright, enthusiastic, and hard-working MSc and PhD students, as well as postdocs, to join this new effort. If you’re excited about atoms, photons, and building quantum technologies on a chip - I’d love to hear from you.
Grateful for the opportunity, and excited for what lies ahead.
