A prestigious undergraduate PPE program (Politics, Jewish and General Philosophy, and Economics), modelled on the degree established at Oxford University, has been approved by the Council for Higher Education. The degree reflects Rabbi Sacks’s unique intellectual contribution. The program is run by the Department of Political Studies with the Departments of Economics, Jewish Philosophy, and General Philosophy. The Sacks Institute developed interdisciplinary courses on topics such as “Judaism and Democracy,” “Economics and Judaism,” “Religion and Politics,” as well as on Rabbi Sacks’s political and social thought.

Two scholarships have been generously donated by the Gerald and Gail Ronson Family Foundation for underprivileged students from Israel’s periphery.
