Crisis, Trauma & Digital Resilience

This research area explores how digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and social media can support individuals and communities in coping with trauma, crises, and major life events. At the same time, it examines the potential psychological risks of exposure to distressing digital content, including the development of trauma-related symptoms. Our research investigates processes of coping, recovery, meaning-making, and resilience at both the individual and societal levels.
