The Qvit lab

Chemistry and Biology of Protein-Protein Interactions for Drug Discovery

Qvit Lab, part of the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine at Bar Ilan University, is dedicated to advancing research on peptide-based regulation of mitochondrial proteins. Our mission is to develop and synthesize peptides that can serve as potential therapeutic agents for cardiovascular diseases. The entire process is conducted in-house, starting with computational screening to identify promising peptide candidates, followed by peptide synthesis, protein expression and purification, and culminating in testing on cellular and animal models. This comprehensive approach enables us to identify and evaluate promising candidates that may address key.
