Welcome to Dr. Maayan Nakash Website

Dr. Maayan Nakash is an expert in information technologies (IT) and knowledge management (KM), serving as a senior faculty member in the Department of Management at Bar-Ilan University (BIU), Israel. Her research areas include KM in organizations, implementation of information systems, AI adoption, improving business performance, digital workplace environments, and the future of work.

She completed her degrees with the highest honors in the Department of Information Science at BIU, specializing in WEB technologies and IT. During her doctoral studies, she received numerous academic accolades, including the BIU President's Scholarship for four consecutive years, two Rector's Awards for research students, and twelve awards for outstanding doctoral students for publishing articles in international academic journals. Dr. Nakash completed her postdoctoral research period in the Department of Management and Engineering (DTG) at the University of Padua, Italy, where she investigated the synergistic relationship between KM and AI.

She serves as an Associate Editor of the prestigious journal Knowledge Management Research & Practice (KMRP), which is highly esteemed within the KM scientific community. Additionally, she serves as the AI Coordinator for research, teaching, and administration in the Department of Management, and is a member of the Data Science & AI Institute (DSAI).
