A creative pattern

Thinking Skills and Creativity

Developmental Aspects

Studies in the lab have explored how creative thinking in children’s drawings, math, and music, along with academic achievements, can be developed together through practice and targeted instruction, emphasizing the lab’s focus on cross-domain cognitive development and learning. The lab conducts both basic and applied research to inform educational practices and interventions.

Leading projects include cognitive flexibility in children's drawings and the “MusiMath” program, which teaches mathematics using music while emphasizing creativity in both areas.
