The Israel Port-OSL Research Group (IP-OSLRG), founded in 2026 consists of the three major port-OSL researchers and luminescence dating experts in Israel.

A workshop is planned for September 16th, 2026 at Ariel University.

Call for research student in palaeoenvironment

For a funded & groundbreaking study on unique high-resolution palaeoenvironmental and sedimentological archives throughout Israel, Earth and Archaeological Science research students (M.Sc / MA / Ph.D. / post-Doc) are needed!

Research methods includeField work, geospatial analysis, sedimentology, geochemistry, numerical dating, archaeology, modelling.

Research Inception time: Immediate!

Congratulations to Dr. Jakub Holusa on submitting the manuscript: Late Glacial landscape evolution in an active tectonic, hydrothermal and aeolian environment of Central Europe; and on the acceptance of the paper: Pedogeomorphology of semiarid soils of Ulu Peninsula, James Ross Island, Antarctica – in Soil Science Society of America.
