Our group explores a temporal analogue of the Aharonov–Bohm effect: phase picked up from engineered time potentials rather than forces. Using an SU(1,1) interferometer that entangles signal and idler photons, we resolve ultrafast dynamics and read out tiny temporal phase shifts with high visibility. The platform doubles as a laboratory for space-time analogues—probing phenomena reminiscent of rotating black holes—while pointing to compact sensors for quantum communication and precision timing. It’s quantum optics as a lens on both technology and fundamental physics.
