My research examines Shakespeare’s dramas through the lens of performance and rhetorical theory, with particular attention to rhetorical listening and identification. Drawing on classical and contemporary rhetoric, my work explores how silence and speech--particularly in its aural dimension, shape political life in Shakespeare’s plays.
