My general research areas are: macroeconomics, industrial organization, time series econometrics, and political economy. My current research interests include: price rigidity/flexibility, sticky prices, cost of price adjustment (menu costs), asymmetric price adjustment, psychological aspects of pricing, price points and 9-ending prices, implicit contracts, non-price adjustment mechanisms, business cycles, economic growth and income convergence, and housing markets. My current projects include: Asymmetric Price Adjustment, Menu Costs, Testing Sticky Information Models, Multi-unit Housing Construction under Regulation, Economic Training and Rationality, Shock Persistence and Volatility of the Prewar and Postwar Output.
