My Ph.D. research focuses on developing RxnNet, a computational algorithm for systematically mapping gas-phase fragmentation pathways in mass spectrometry. The algorithm constructs a reaction graph using SMARTS-defined rules to represent possible multi-step mechanisms and explore complex molecular rearrangements. This approach aims to improve our understanding of fragmentation processes and support the interpretation of MS/MS data.
