Hodaya possesses a master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Health Social Work and has been dedicated to managing the Psycho-cardiology Research Lab at Bar-Ilan University's Department of Psychology for the past nine years. In her role, she actively contributes to the planning and execution of complex research projects, ensuring their successful implementation across various healthcare settings while keeping a strong focus on achieving project objectives.
Her expertise encompasses a wide range of research methodologies, including questionnaire construction and administration, diary studies, in-depth interviews, and longitudinal data collection in clinical settings.
Hodaya has made notable contributions to research writing, having co-authored articles, protocols, and her thesis centered around the topic of "Including Illness in the Self."
Furthermore, Hodaya assumes the role of mentor to our research assistants each year. She guides them through their initial stages of learning data collection techniques, scientific writing, and collaborative scientific work.
Beyond her dedicated work in the lab, Hodaya has gained valuable experience in providing treatment to individuals facing cancer in her role as the manager of a support center catering to patients and their families.
