The Drug Development Lab
Our research group takes a multidisciplinary approach to developing new drug candidates, combining pharmacology, molecular biology, biochemistry, molecular modeling, and nanotechnology. We begin by identifying a key target protein involved in a disease, using its 3D structure to design potential small molecules through computer modeling. These molecules are synthesized, tested in vitro, and evaluated for therapeutic effects in animal models—all conducted in our lab.
We strive to combat devastating diseases, driven by the belief that medicinal chemistry can improve human health and well-being.
