In honor of Good Deeds Day, the Hamaniya Resilience Center, in collaboration with the Department of Organizational Development, Training, and Welfare, organized a unique volunteer day titled "Stories from the Armchair" at the Pepper Day Center for Seniors in Petah Tikva.
As part of the day, 15 administrative and academic staff members received special training, after which they met with the seniors, listened to their fascinating life stories, and documented them in writing.
The project not only preserved the seniors' memories in written form but also fostered meaningful intergenerational connections and gave the participants a sense of value and belonging.
