Bar-Ilan University, through its Libraries and Information Division, presented an exhibition on October 7 and the Iron Swords War, featuring works created by faculty members, students, and administrative staff.
The exhibition, titled "Soul Matter: Art in Times of War," was initiated to give voice and expression to the experiences of the university community following the events of October 7 and the Iron Swords War.
Through the artworks of academic and administrative staff, as well as students, a rich mosaic of experiential, emotional, and reflective expressions was presented, embodied in a variety of artistic techniques.
Within the exhibition space, visitors encountered works that conveyed not only moments of trauma, pain, and both personal and collective hardship, but also pieces that expressed resilience and hope.
The exhibition received widespread attention within the university and was even covered by the media.
