Together with Prof. Rami Reiner of Ben Gurion University, Pinchas published a critical edition of the responsa by Rabbi Isaac ben Samuel of Dampierre (often known as Ri ha-Zaken). The volume was published by Mekize Nirdamim in 2020. Reiner and Roth published translations of four selected responsa in their article: ‘Isaac of Dampierre (Ri ha-Zaqen) and His Responsa’, Revue des études juives 182 (2023): 319-343

Roth serves on the Scientific Council for Route médiévale de Rachi en Champagne, which created a fresco in Dampierre commemorating Rabbi Isaac. Read more here.
