Dr. Hila Chalutz-Ben Gal

BIO

Hila Chalutz-Ben Gal, Ph.D., is a Senior Lecturer at Bar-Ilan University, ISRAEL, in the Industrial & Information Systems Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering, where she is Head of the People Analytics Lab. Her research examines how People Analytics, Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence, and New Forms of Work transform projects, work and organizational systems. She studies how digital transformation and disruptive technologies, including AI systems, are changing work processes, forming new work environments. She has extensive expertise in human resource analytics techniques and their application to real-world settings. Dr.  Chalutz-Ben Gal publishes in top-tier journals, such as: Academy of Management Perspectives, Decision Support Systems, Business Horizons. Dr. Chalutz-Ben Gal had served as Principal Investigator in several funded research projects. She has won awards for both research and teaching. She and collaborators have received best paper awards for research in both management and engineering conferences. She actively contributes to the academic community by organizing tracks and sessions at leading International Conferences. She currently serves as Guest Associate Editor at Project Management Journal and Human Resource Management. She serves as a Working Group Leader at the European Union funded  HUMAN-IT | COST Action 24167
