Shlomit is an architect and urban planner whose research integrates geospatial technologies with social and cultural analysis, focusing on cities under conditions of demographic and environmental transition.

Marianna completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Her PhD dissertation, titled "Implementation of Statutory Planning versus Urban Dynamics in a Complex City: The Case Study of Jerusalem," is supervised by Dr. Shlomit Flint and Prof. Michael Sofer. She currently works as a practicing urban planner, specializing in statutory planning, social and economic programmatic consulting for diverse population groups, and the assessment of public needs.

Miri Reiss

Ph.D Student

Miri Reiss is researching walkability in hilly cities. Her PhD dissertation, titled "Promoting health and walkability in hilly cities via urban planning" is supervised by Prof. Anat Tchetchik and Dr. Shlomit Flint. She serves as Director of the Environment and Sustainability Authority in the Municipality of Jerusalem.

Rinat Steinlauf-Millo

Rinat holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and her titled "Developing Sustainable Planning Strategies for Complex Climate Change Futures Using Digital Negotiation Processes," is supervised by Dr. Flint and Prof. Lensky. She works as an urban planner in the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality and leads Geodesign workshops focused on adaptive, evidence-based urban planning with emphasis on participatory decision-making, heritage preservation, and climate resilience.

Shlomit Taieb

Shlomit holds a Master's degree  in Urban Planning from Bar-Ilan University and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Her MA thesis, titled "Architecture of Worship: Womb-Tomb Shrines in the Holy Land" was supervised by Dr. Shlomit Flint and Prof. Joel Roskin. She currently serves as the City Architect of Givat Shmuel, where she oversees the city's architectural and urban development initiatives.

Hezi Ben Yaakov

MA Student

Hezi is an expert in urban climate mapping, GIS applications, smart city technologies, digital municipal services, and spatial data integration for sustainability planning. His MA thesis, titled "Integrating urban information to map thermal conditions in public spaces in the city of Ramat Gan as a tool for preparing for climate change and promoting urban resilience" was supervised by Prof. Itamar Lensky and Dr. Shlomit Flint. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the Engineering Department - ICT and GIS at Ramat Gan Municipality.

Laura Riegle

Laura has completed a bachelor’s degree is Sustainability and government at Reichman University and a Masters degree in urban planning at Bar Ilan University with a focus on urban scale LCA. Her MA thesis, titled "Analysis of Embodied Carbon in Existing Buildings in Ramat Gan", was supervised by Dr. Shlomit Flint and Prof. Itamar Lensky. Laura is a Senior Sustainability consultant at Alfa Sustainable Projects with an expertise in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
