חרדה משפיעה על כמעט שניים מתוך כל עשרה מבוגרים. המחקרים שלנו בתחום בוחנים את האפקטיביות של התערבויות קוגניטיביות-התנהגותיות ופסיכודינמיות עבור חרדה חברתית. תכליתם לסייע למטופלים ולמטופלות להתמודד עם פחדים חברתיים, להפחית דאגה כרונית, לשפר את הביטחון העצמי ולהפחית סימפטומים פיזיים של חרדה. המחקר משלב מדידת מדדים פנומנולוגיים, קוגניטיביים, התנהגותיים וביולוגיים של תגובות רגשיות.
