Principal Investigator

Eran Bamani Beeri, PhD
Head of the Physical Human Intelligence Laboratory
At Bar-Ilan University, he combines machine learning, computer vision and multimodal sensing to understand human movement, infer functional states and recognize human intent. His research spans video-based assessment of gait, balance and motor function; generative models for learning from limited data; and intuitive human–robot interaction through gestures and natural language. He also investigates how robots learn from human demonstrations and how people and robots adapt to physical tasks together, with applications in clinical assessment, personalized rehabilitation and robotic assistance.
