Prof. Zeev Zalevsky

Vice President for Academia–Industry Relations at Bar-Ilan University

Prof. Zeev Zalevsky is Vice President for Academia–Industry Relations at Bar-Ilan University and a Full Professor in the Faculty of Engineering, where he also served as Dean.

His research spans optical super-resolution, biomedical optics, nanophotonics, and fiber-based sensing, resulting in over 600 peer-reviewed articles, nine books, and around 100 patents.

He is a fellow of leading scientific societies including SPIE, OSA, and IEEE, and has received numerous awards, among them the Humboldt Research Prize and the Edison Award. Beyond academia, he is highly active in commercializing his inventions, having led the technological development of more than ten startup companies.
