
Hadar Ram
Principal Investigator
Hadar Ram is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social and Health Sciences at Bar-Ilan University. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Tel Aviv University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Ram's research explores how expectations, probabilities, and psychological distance influence learning and decision-making, with applications in education, social judgments, and organizational behavior.

Roi Basch
Lab Manager
Roi completed his BSc in Neuroscience and Psychology at Ben-Gurion University, where he worked as a research assistant in a molecular cognition lab. Now an MA student in Clinical Psychology at Bar-Ilan University, he studies the effect of psychedelics on cognitive flexibility.

Guy Grinfeld
Post-Doctoral Fellow
Guy completed his PhD, as well as his BA and MA in Psychology at Tel Aviv University. His research focuses on social learning, examining how people integrate socially transmitted information with personally experienced information.

Lihi Arad
Doctoral Student
Lihi studies financial decision-making in the pension field. Specifically, she examines the relationship between psychological factors, such as perceptions of aging and future expectations, and people's significant decisions as they approach retirement.

Noy Rosental
Master Student
Noy examine the impact of social distance and power positions on learning in organizations. Her research focuses on how power positions shapes learning processes.

May Sasi
Research Assistant
May completed her BA in Psychology at Tel-Aviv University. At SCALE Lab, she is responsible for running both in-lab and online experiments, as well as preparing research materials. She has a strong interest in clinical psychology.
