Dr. Nir Milstein
Dr. Nir Milstein completed his PhD and a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychology at Bar-Ilan University, and an additional postdoctoral fellowship at the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. His research focuses on leadership and decision making.
Lab Manager
Abigail-Eden Shaina Weizmann
Abigail Weizmann is the Lab Manager. She is a third-year undergraduate student in Psychology at Bar-Ilan University, with a background in medical sciences through core pre-medical coursework at the Open University. In her role, she is responsible for managing laboratory operations and experiments, working with and analyzing physiological measures (including EDA and HRV), and training research assistants.
MA Students
Amit Binyamin
Amit Binyamin is a graduate student in Social and Organizational Psychology in the Department of Psychology at Bar-Ilan University. As part of her master’s thesis, she is investigating the relationship between the use of heuristics and physiological measures of decision-making, under the supervision of Dr. Eliran Halali and Dr. Nir Milstein. She holds a BA in Psychology from the Open University.
Shai Gutman
Shai Gutman is a graduate student in Social Psychology in the Department of Psychology at Bar-Ilan University. As part of her master’s thesis, she is investigating the relationship between charisma and pain tolerance, under the supervision of Dr. Ronit Kark and Dr. Nir Milstein. She holds a dual BA in Psychology and Economics from Bar-Ilan University.
Omri Oron
Omri Oron is a graduate student in Research Psychology in the Cognition, Emotion, and Brain track in the Department of Psychology at Bar-Ilan University. As part of his master’s thesis, he is investigating the effects of artificial intelligence tools on charisma and leadership, under the supervision of Dr. Nir Milstein and Dr. Lihi Peled-Avron. He holds a dual BA in Psychology and Sociology-Anthropology from the Ruppin Academic Center.
Adir Cohen
Adir Cohen is a student in a thesis completion track at the Business School, under the supervision of Dr. Nir Milstein. His research focuses on the moderating role of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the relationship between charisma and its well-established outcomes in the research literature. He holds an MBA with a specialization in Organizational Behavior and Strategic Business Consulting from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Sagi Hai
Sagi Hai is a third-year undergraduate student in a dual major in Neuroscience and Psychology at Bar-Ilan University. He has experience in managerial teamwork and technical skills gained through his military service, and is proficient in Python programming.

Omer Peer
Omer Peer completed an MBA at Bar-Ilan University. As part of his thesis, he investigated the physiological mechanisms of charisma, under the supervision of Dr. Nir Milstein. He holds a BA in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
