My research focuses on the use of transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation (tACS) and transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) to enhance executive functions, demonstrating measurable improvements in cognitive control and pragmatic abilities, as well as increased in working memory functioning. Additionally, we study how electrical brain stimulation can alleviate symptoms of depression and PTSD. A central aim of our work is also to identify the neural oscillations that correlate with these cognitive improvements.
