This research field examines East–West Asian relations and the ways in which Israel, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Holocaust, and local forms of antisemitism are mediated in political and social discourses in China, Japan, and South Korea. It combines analysis of geopolitical interests, diplomacy, public discourse, and civil society activism.
