Prof. Livnat Holtzman

Prof. Livnat Holtzman completed her bachelor’s degree with honors in the Departments of Arabic Language and Literature and Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She completed her master’s degree with honors in the Department of Arabic at Bar Ilan University. She also pursued her doctoral studies at Bar-Ilan University and wrote her doctoral dissertation under the guidance of Prof. Binyamin Abrahamov. In the academic year 2025-2026, Prof. Holtzman co-organized and led an international research group on nonverbal communication in the Islamic world at the Institute for Advanced Studies at the Hebrew University.
