Our research on privacy and data protection explores how legal and policy frameworks shape the governance of personal data in an era of rapid technological change and pervasive data collection and processing. We study the evolution of privacy law—from its early philosophical roots to the pressing challenges of safeguarding personal data in a world where digital systems constantly track, analyze, and share data.
