My research examines the intersections of gender, crime, and incarceration, focusing on pathways into and out of crime, the consequences of early-life trauma, and processes of rehabilitation. Particular attention is given to gender differences and intersectional perspectives on crime, punishment, and rehabilitation among women and men.
