Menomadin Center for Jewish & Democratic Law

The Menomadin Center for Jewish and Democratic Law develops legal and academic infrastructure to facilitate synergy between the components of Israeli identity and impact the public discourse. The Center, which operates within the Faculty of Law at Bar-Ilan University, works to advance research, train change agents, and develop solutions to enrich and support the State of Israel’s Jewish and democratic identity.

Research activity

The center works to enrich academic research, shape agents of change and develop legal solutions for the Jewish and democratic identity of the State of Israel.

Educational activity

Training for law students, building a community of colleagues and graduates of the Menomdin Center for Jewish and Democratic Law, strengthening and deepening knowledge among students from diverse backgrounds, in order to deal with the juxtaposition of "Jewish and democratic" in the identity of the State of Israel.

Public activity

For the purpose of consolidating the field of public-collaborative procedures in Israel as a field that stands on its own, and based on expertise and specialization, the center operates on three levels - establishing a research and data infrastructure, forming platforms to link between key actors, and implementing public-collaborative procedures.
