CONTENT
The Birobidzhan Yiddish writer Buzi Miller, enjoying his vacation in the resort town of Truskavets (Lviv region, Ukraine), congratulates Kirichanski on his “firstborn”: the first poetic collection translated into Ukrainian.
Kirichanski had sent this book as a gift to Miller, who took it to read on vacation.
The sender highly appreciates the quality of both the poems and their translation, particularly stressing the interest of their Ukrainian colleagues in the new book.
Miller regrets that he has not met Kirichanski in Lviv, where the latter had recently visited—the sender learned that from the Lviv Yiddish writer Alexander Lizen.
The sender wishes Kirichanski to issue many more books, including in his native language, and congratulates him on the coming year 1975.
