Ester Teyf, the widow of the Moscow-based Yiddish poet Moyshe Teyf, thanks Kipnis for the condolences he expressed. She points out that the kind words of sympathy somewhat softened the grief of loss, and wishes the recipient all the best.

Ester Teyf was the former actress of the Belarussian State Yiddish Theater in Minsk; in this status she is better known by her maiden name Bloshchinska.
