אנשים רבים מתמודדים עם מחשבות טורדניות ועם דחף לבצע פעולות חוזרות כדי להפחית לחץ או ספק. המוכרות והנחקרות ביותר הן הפרעה טורדנית־כפייתית(OCD) , הפרעת אגרנות (קושי להיפרד מחפצים) והפרעה בתפיסת הגוף (Body Dysmorphic Disorder).
בקליניקה אנחנו חוקרים את ההפרעות הללו באמצעות הדמיה מוחית ומדדים פיזיולוגיים, לצד שאלונים, ראיונות ובדיקת יכולות קשב — כדי להבין מה מחמיר את התסמינים ומה מסייע להפחתתם, ועל מנת לפתח דרכים חדשות לשיפור אבחון וטיפול במבוגרים ובילדים.
